We are excited to announce a new integration with join.me that makes it easy for agents and customers to share screens while chatting. With the new integration, your live support and help desk agents can share their screens with online chat visitors using a single command in the agent panel. Agents can also invite visitors to share their screens with just a couple of clicks. It’s never been so easy to provide world-class customer service, sales and support, since screen sharing can help to resolve an issue or explain a feature in just a matter of seconds.
Join.me is the fastest growing collaboration product in the world. For the integration with your ClickDesk live chat account, you’ll also need a free basic join.me account (be sure to check out their paid plans for awesome online meetings as well). Once you’ve registered with join.me, follow the setup instructions on our Join.me Live Chat Integration page to get going with screen shares during chats.
Once the plugin is configured, when a customer requests a screen share during a chat session, or when you think one would be useful, simply type the shortcut /screenshare and the system will create a join.me session and provide a URL for sharing/viewing. The URL will also be automatically sent to the chat visitor. If you’d rather let the visitor share their screen with you, just use the command /viewscreen and a join.me session will be set up in the same way.
