We’re equally : your customer support agents. The new UI for live chat agents is no longer in beta. You’ll see it automatically whenever you login to the agent panel. You can switch back to the old design if you prefer, but we doubt you’ll want to. And guess what? You can customize the new live chat user interface with just a couple of clicks!
To customize the theme colors for your personal agent portal, just login as an agent and go to Theme Settings. Choose your desired color scheme and layout to get a live preview of how the changes will look. If you like what you see, just click Save and get back to chatting with your web visitors.
The new live chat UI for agents is designed to simplify the entire chat process, including setup and preferences. Knowing that less clicks = higher ROI, we’ve streamlined access to essential settings for your live chat sessions and offline chats. For example, you can quickly set your preferred Time Zone, Sound Notifications, Help Desk Notifications and more directly from tabbed menus in the main Preferences menu. No long menu paths, no coding, just easy access for instant results.
Just like web visitors, your live chat agents can use the ClickDesk app from any device. Looking for more space on the dashboard? Toggle the main menu in your sidebar to only display icons. Note that with the menu set to display icons only, there’s no longer a break between Main functions and Settings. Also, the icon highlight color matches your chosen theme/color scheme.
