Step 1: Create an Account

  • Signup for an account and verify your email if you have not done it already
  • Please login to configure your account
  • After logging into your ClickDesk Dashboard, click on Add Operator


Step 2: Add an Operator

  • Click on Add Operator
  • Enter the operator details such as Full name, nick name, email id, IM and other details. Click on Add Operator at the end of this form
  • You will now receive automated contact requests to your IM. Please accept all of them


Step 3: Create a Department

  • Click on Copy code to your site tab to create a new department
  • Enter a Department name and assign operators to it by enabling the checkbox
  • You will now see a new department created.




Step 4: Get your Code

  • After a department is created, click on the Get your code link
  • Copy these lines of javascript code
  • Paste this code just before the closing body tag of your webpages to make ClickDesk appear on those pages


Step 5:Activate WHMCS Plugin

  • In the ClickDesk dashboard, Go to Preferences -> Plugins
  • In the WHMCS block, enter your WHMCS installed url, admin username and MD5 password
  • Now, in your WHMCS control panel, Go to Setup -> General -> Security -> API IP restriction and add 174.129.201.35


Step 6:Live chat Demo

  • WHMCS plugin is now active on your account
  • When a customer enters your website and leaves his email to initiate a live chat, the operator receives customers' information directly on their IM
