ClickDesk - Tumblr Widget Setup Guide
Step 1: Login & Customize
- Login to your Tumblr account
- Choose your blog from the top right menu
- Click on 'Customize Appearance'
Step 2: Edit HTML
- In the Customize Apperance screen, click on 'EDIT HTML' button
- Search of {/block:Posts} in the theme code
Step 3: Signup and Add Operator
- Signup for our Free plan and verify your email
- Login to your Dashboard and add an operator
- Confirm your operator IM (Skype or Google talk) id by accepting the contact requests on your IM
Step 4: Create a Department
- After adding the operator, click on 'Get your code' in the navigation bar
- Create a new department and assign operator(s)
- Add the department
Step 5: Get your Code
- After assigning the operators to the department, you can now find a link 'Get your code'
- Click on this Get your Code
- Copy this live chat code
Step 6: Paste the code and Save
- Find the closed div just before the {/block:Posts} area in the code
- Paste the ClickDesk live chat code just above the line
- Save
