Step 1:Signup and Add Operator

  • Signup for an account and verify your email if you have not done it already
  • Login to your Dashboard and add an operator
  • Confirm your operator IM (Skype or Google talk) id by accepting the contact requests


Step 2:Get your code

  • After adding the operator, click on "Copy code to your site"
  • Create a new department and assign operator(s)
  • Click on "Get your code" link. Copy the code and paste it just before the body closing tag of your webpages


Step 3:Activate SugarCRM Plugin

  • In the ClickDesk dashboard, Go to Preferences -> Plugins
  • Scroll down to find Sugar block. Enter your Sugar username, password and URL at which it's installed




Step 4:Retrieve Lead Info

  • When a customer enters your website and leaves his email to initiate a live chat, the operator receives customers' information directly on their IM
  • Clicking on the profile link in the IM shall directly open the profile of that particular lead


Step 5:Add post-chat note
