Step 1: Upload the Module

  • Download our OpenCart live chat module.
  • Upload to your root folder (OpenCart installed directory).
  • Extract the zip file.


Step 2: Install the module

  • Login to your open cart administration area.
  • Go to Extension -> Modules.
  • Find ClickDesk module in the list and install it.


Step 3: Edit and Sign up

  • You can now find the "Edit link" option for the ClickDesk plugin.
  • Click on it and wait for the ClickDesk page to load completely.
  • Sign up for a ClickDesk account if you do not have one. Log in to your account through this page.




Step 4: Add Operator

  • After logging in, click on the "Add Operators" tab.
  • Enter the operator details such as Full name, nick name, email id, IM and other details. Click on the "Add Operator" button to add.
  • You will now receive automated contact requests to your IM. Please accept all of them.


Step 5: Create Department

  • Click on the "Install Plugin" tab to create a new department.
  • Assign operators to it by enabling the checkbox.
  • You will now see a new department created and an install plugin link


Step 6: Install Plugin

  • Click on "Install plugin" link in the "Departments & Your code" section.
  • Plugin will install.
  • You can now see live chat appear on all of your web pages and products in your OpenCart store.
