Step 1: Upload and Extract

  • Download our live chat extension
  • Upload to your root folder (Magento installed directory)
  • Extract the zip file


Step 2: Clear Cache

  • Clear the Magento cache by deleting everything from the /var/cache directory OR
  • Login to your Magento administrator backend
  • Go to System -> Cache Management. Click on “Flush Magento Cache”


Step 3: Click on ClickDesk

  • Reload the page and navigate to
    Catalog -> Clickdesk
  • Signup for an account and verify your email if you have not done it already
  • Please login to configure your account




Step 4: Create an Operator

  • Click on Add Operator
  • Enter the operator details such as Full name, nick name, email id, IM and other details. Click on Add Operator at the end of this form
  • You will now receive automated contact requests to your IM. Please accept all of them


Step 5: Create Department

  • Click on Install Plugin tab to create a new department
  • Assign operators to it by enabling the checkbox
  • You will now see a new department created and an install plugin link


Step 6: Click on Install plugin

  • Click on Install plugin link in the Departments & Your code section.
