ClickDesk Plugin Installation Guide
Step 1: Enable Javascript plugin
Login to ClickDesk and add operator
Get your live chat code and paste it on the webpage you would like to receive live chat and VoIP calls
Go to Preferences and select Plugins from the dropdown menu
Step 2: Set the Variables
In the plugins section, go to Javascript API block
Add javascript variables and their reference names. This reference name would appear the same in your IM for you to recognize the value
You can add upto 5 javascript variables. Click on Save.
Step 3: Demo Chat
Initiate a live chat to see if the functioning of the javascript api
In this example, you can find that when a live chat is initiated, the variables are detected from the javascript in the website and are integrated with ClickDesk javascript API. The same information is displayed in the IM with reference name you saved
